Spotify 與 The North Face 合作，以天氣歌單的概念發表一首只在下雨地區上架的歌曲，充分體現 Spotify 在地性行動廣告（Geo-Targeting）的創意應用。
面對濕漉漉的雨天，相信多數人因此感到煩悶；不過一首下雨地區獨家限定的歌曲，或許能成為你漸漸愛上、甚至期待雨天的原因。
Spotify x The North Face x White Denim
Spotify近日與戶外服飾指標The North Face合作，邀來德州的迷幻獨立樂團White Denim創作新歌「No Nee Ta Slode Aln」，結合天氣歌單的概念讓這首歌「只在下雨的地區上架」，不僅配合The North Face發佈防雨機能外套Apex Flex GTX，也展現Spotify在地性行動廣告（Geo-Targeting）方面上的創意應用。
「我們希望藉此改變人們對雨天的觀感，不要只想著躲開雨天，而是為它感到期待與雀躍。透過一首只在雨天能聽的歌，喚醒大家擁抱戶外與自然的靈魂。」
只要點進「Seek No Shelter 」活動頁，其定位功能便能分辨你是否擁有解鎖資格，若你「幸運地」身處下雨地區，便能獨家收聽這個以慶祝雨天為概念的「Rainy Day Playlist」；反過來說，若你不符合收聽條件，就只能看著個30秒的CM過過癮了。（註：雖然官方消息表示此功能只限美國，不過經親身測試，在台灣用電腦版Spotify也可以聽。）

透過氣象數據擬定音樂清單
我們都知道Spotify相當善於透過大數據擬定行銷策略，讓用戶思維的音樂串流服務一再進步。早先於二月時，他們就和氣象公司AccuWeather 合作推出「Climatune 」，能根據使用者所在區域的天氣狀況，提供適合該天氣氛圍的音樂。
當時Spotify官方表示，Climatune整合了過去全球30個主要城市的氣象數據，加以比對850億次人們在 Spotify 上的選播行為，歸納出適合各地雨天、晴天、陰天⋯⋯颳風或下雪日的最佳清單，例如西岸人喜歡在雨天聽節奏明朗的音樂，歐洲人偏好在出太陽的時候聽輕快小品。簡言之，我們可以知道由Spotify推薦的天氣歌單，背後反映著精準的大數據分析結論，而不是完全沒來頭的挑選組合。
相信以全方位音樂體驗平台為目標的Spotify，在這回「天氣歌單 x 服飾品牌」的合作後，會吸引更多注重精準行銷的廣告業者，讓音樂結合品牌氛圍的行銷模式拓展更多可能。
